I received the giant sequoia in the mail last week and the tree was very healthy and the soil and root ball were still damp -very good job on shipping. Thank you for the detailed information on planting and care for the tree (both online and in the instructions provided with the tree). Last year I lost a two year old sequoia I had in a pot and after I read your information I am almost positive it was from dehydration. This is a bit late… but just wanted to let you know that the three sequoia seedlings I received from you back in January are doing very nicely here in May near Atlanta, Georgia. They have already grown almost 10 inches in height so far and appear healthy. They have peaked the interest of several folks I’ve shown them to. I received the most beautiful tree I ever laid eyes just about a week ago. I was just wondering how old item #1157 is. That way when it gets real big we can know for sure how old it is. Also I would like to compliment you on how nice the tree arrived. Best plant I ever bought from any nursery. Joe: Just wanted to say how happy I am with the landscape size Sequoia purchased recently. Special thanks to your packer, it arrived in perfect condition, not so much as a broken branch tip.Given the size and quality of the sapling this is a great bargain for $37. including shipping. Hi, I bought a giant sequoia from you last year and it's doing great. I watered it faithfully all summer, about two gallons twice a day. The last time I measured, it was 48" tall. I'm going to buy another one from you when the ground warms up next spring. Should I use some fertlizer or plant food to help it grow. We have good black soil here (in Nebraska) but I want to make sure it has everything it needs. I want to buy another one as soon as the ground warms up next year. Thanks Kurt
